This serves as a call for nominations for election to the 2027 Global Ageing Network Board of Directors. Participation on the Global Ageing Network Board of Directors is a unique opportunity to be part of a global dialogue and dynamic network of leaders seeking to advance high quality, person-centered care and services for people as they age.
Candidates must be members of the Global Ageing Network, active in aged care and services, and interested in and willing to advance the Global Ageing Network’s strategic vision for a world that recognizes the rights of older people to live with dignity, purpose, and access to the supports they need, wherever they call home.
Candidates may be leaders of provider organizations, national or regional Peak bodies/associations of aged care providers, research institutions, and other related fields. The board term is for three years.
Nominations are being accepted until 30 August 2026 and will be reviewed by the Board Nominations Committee. Successful candidates will be elected by the full Board of Directors. Interested candidates should send a letter of interest to Shannon Davis at sdavis@globalageing.org.
