LeadingAge and the Global Ageing Network are proud to return for the third season of the Social Impact Partners (SIP) Brain Health Innovation Olympics alongside leaders from various sectors such as senior living, nonprofit, for-profit, retail health, neuroscience, wellness, capital venture, and many more.
The SIP Brain Health Innovation Olympics is an engaging eight-week program designed to unite young professionals with industry leaders to tackle pressing challenges in brain health. Hosted by Social Impact Partners, this initiative invites teams from universities worldwide to develop innovative solutions for the places we live, work, and age. This year’s participating teams include the Asian Institute of Management (Philippines), Arizona State University (USA), Columbia University (USA), Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary (Canada), INSEAD (France), and the S.P. Mandali Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (India).
Participants engage in collaborative workshops, guided by experts, to address critical issues such as mental health crises among youth and strategies for dementia prevention. For the third season of this competition, the global student teams have been asked, “How can corporations—such as food, retail, real estate, technology, and service companies—use their platforms to promote healthy aging and brain health in the places where we work, live, study, and age (e.g., universities, companies, senior living)? What solutions, innovations, and new product ideas are currently missing and need to be introduced into the marketplace?”
Change is Happening!
Sponsors and judges play an important role in this program. They bring their expertise, insights, and leadership experience to guide the teams toward actionable and achievable goals in creating award-winning business plans. In addition, leaders and organizations who choose to judge are gaining incredible advantages including research, recruitment, enhanced strategy, supportive new concepts, and innovation. The results of the SIP Brain Health Innovation Olympics go beyond ideas to real action, with corporate strategies changing, pragmatic clinical trials being planned, and new businesses launching as a direct result of this program
