This fall, the 2025 LeadingAge Annual Meeting and the Global Ageing Network will unite to bring together ageing services professionals from around the world in a one-of-a-kind international gathering. The joint event is a unique opportunity to explore innovative ideas, policy approaches, and care models that are shaping the future of ageing worldwide.
The LeadingAge Annual Meeting and the Global Ageing Network Biennial Conference will feature more than 150 sessions across a wide range of topics, including a select set of International Perspectives sessions, developed in collaboration with the Global Ageing Network, spotlighting comparative insights and global solutions to the most pressing challenges in our field.
Presenters from more than a dozen countries across six continents will highlight how ageing services leaders are navigating similar challenges in vastly different contexts. Attendees will hear how organizations in India, Africa, and Australia are expanding access to care in rural communities; how providers in the UK and Belgium are designing age-inclusive urban spaces that integrate housing, services, and community amenities; and how cross-national partnerships are tackling workforce shortages through ethical and sustainable labor mobility programs.
Technology and innovation are also central themes. Panelists will explore how digital care hubs in Scotland are blending human connection with simple technology to extend support to older adults at home, while other discussions will examine how artificial intelligence can improve care delivery without compromising ethical standards or human dignity. Presenters from China and the U.S. will share how accreditation standards and data-sharing collaborations are advancing person-centered practices and improving quality outcomes across borders.
These sessions offer a unique window into how global approaches can inform local solutions. Together, they highlight the importance of learning across borders to address ageing on a global scale.
Join ageing services leaders from across the globe in Boston for this rare opportunity to gain global insight, build international connections, and explore innovative ideas that can strengthen ageing services in every community.
