The Global Ageing Network has been awarded Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. We actively participate at the United Nations Open-Ended Working Group on Ageing (OEWGA) meetings.

Global Ageing Network participated in the United Nation’s 13th Open Ended Working Group meeting in early April to continue deliberations about the establishment of a UN Convention on the Rights of Older People (UN OEWGA).
