Call for Research Abstracts
Submission Deadline: 1 March 2025
Our call for research abstracts is open! Topics could include:
- Creating a sustainable workforce
- Improving models of care and innovative models of care and service delivery
- Sustainable environments for care settings/services
- Person-centered care
- Technology and ethical issues around artificial intelligence (AI)
- Evaluations of music, visual arts, or creativity programs and other innovative programs
- Human rights of older persons
- Changing demography needs
- Diet/nutrition/wellness for older persons
- Palliative and end-of-life care

Research abstracts must be submitted by 1 March 2025 (12:00 pm US EST). Late submissions will not be accepted.

- Word Limit: 300 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliation)
- Language: English
Poster Format
- Presentation: In-person and digital (PowerPoint slide)
- Orientation: Landscape
- Language: English
- Design: You are responsible for the research poster design (conference organizers cannot provide support)

- Abstract submissions are limited to 300 words and can be submitted electronically here.
- Selected presenters must submit their poster presentation electronically. Instructions will be provided to selected presenters.
- Selected presenters will be asked to grant permission for your digital poster presentation to be included in a post-conference e-book.

- Consider including plans for future research (next steps, questions) in your abstract.
- Authors may be invited to write a post-conference article/blog post reflecting on the experience and sharing future research plans.
- Abstracts and poster presentations should focus on scientific advancement, unbiased findings, and innovation within the field, avoiding promotion of specific products or services.
