As populations age across the globe, leaders in aging services face increasingly complex challenges and opportunities. From workforce shortages and evolving care models to new technologies and changing demographics, the sector requires leaders who can think strategically, adapt to change, and foster innovation.
The Global Ageing Network Leadership Program is designed to help leaders build those capabilities while connecting with peers from around the world. The next cohort of the program will begin in November 2026, bringing together professionals from diverse countries, organizations, and care settings for a unique leadership development experience.
Through six interactive virtual sessions, participants will explore key issues shaping the future of aged care. Topics include global aging trends, effective leadership principles, workforce sustainability and retention, innovation, technology, inclusion, and strategies for creating person-centered cultures. The program also provides valuable opportunities to exchange ideas with international colleagues and develop a global network of peers committed to advancing aged care.
The program’s first session, Understanding the Global Landscape of Aged Care, sets the foundation by examining demographic trends, emerging technologies, innovative service models, and the opportunities and challenges leaders face in an increasingly interconnected world.
