Applied Research Forum on Dementia Care – Perth 2015
IAHSA will convene an Applied Research Forum focused on Dementia Care – Lessons Learned from Research in Australia on 31 August 2015 in Perth Australia in conjunction with IAHSA/ACSA Joint International Conference.
The Forum will be chaired by Dr. Julienne Meyer, City University of London and a member of the IAHSA Board of Directors. Well known researchers will be paired with providers to discuss research findings and how they apply to real world settings.
Following an overview of the benefits and challenges of putting research into practice, speakers will explore the following important topics: creative ageing for those with dementia, home care for people living with dementia, technology and dementia care, family caregiver support and the spiritual dimensions of human connections in dementia.
Join us for an important dialogue about these issues which are paramount to quality of life in a world that is rapidly ageing.
