Executive Director, Tabor Village (British Columbia, Canada)
CHE is the Executive Director, Tabor Village where he shepherds the enhancement of social, spiritual, and care needs for nearly 300 seniors. Leading a team of over 400 employees and volunteers, Dan inspires them with a commitment to continuously improving the quality of life at the campus of care. Dan is an Adjunct Professor teaching Long Term Care Administration in the Gerontology Diploma Program at Simon Fraser University.
Dan has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology, University of British Columbia; a Masters of Science (MSc), with a specialization in retirement and long term care administration, University of North Texas; a Certificate in Fundraising, British Columbia Institute of Technology and is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
After summiting Africa’s Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2011 to raise money for the Alzheimer Society of BC, he joined the Board of Directors to help better serve the needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and their families. He has published articles in academic, professional and trade publications and he has presented at regional, national and international conferences.
Dan is married to Lisa and together they have two daughters Dahlia and Aria.
