Ahead of the Curve: Aging & Inclusive Development

Join HelpAge in bridging the gap between global aging and development.

More than 2 billion people will be over the age of sixty by 2050 and 80% of them will live in the developing world. This demographic shift will have an unmistakable impact across the world on economies, healthcare systems and communities. While we can’t change the demographic trends, we can change how we respond.

On 2 June 2016, HelpAge will be bringing together a panel of global development and aging experts to discuss how aging plays a role in development and what the path forward must include. This conference will explore how we will address the needs of the world’s forgotten billion while planning for a future where all people are included, counted and valued.
