    Mark Spitalnik is the Founder, President and CEO of China Senior Care, Inc. (“CSC”) and President and a Founding Director of the China Branch of the International Association of Housing and Services for the Ageing. Mr. Spitalnik became involved in the Chinese senior care sector in February of 2007 and CSC was formed and funded in April of 2009 for the purpose of bringing international quality senior care to China. CSC was started with the goal of significantly improving the level of senior care in China and responsibly and ethically satisfying a pressing social need of providing a better quality of life for Chinese elders.

  • Julienne Meyer

    Professor Julienne Meyer leads Research and Development in ‘Care for Older People’ at City University and is Executive Director of My Home Life Programme. Subthemes to her work include ‘quality of life’, ‘quality of care’ and ‘quality of management’. As a nurse, she is also interested in the ‘value and contribution of nursing’. Typically, Julienne uses collaborative approaches to bring about whole systems change and reflect on the lessons learnt from attempts to improve practice. Her style of working is evidence-based, relationship-centred, appreciative, and action oriented. Over the last 20 years, she has worked in a variety of different settings (health, social care, and housing; general and mental health; primary, secondary and tertiary care) and across a number of traditional boundaries (public and private; policy and practice; research, and education.
